My Master Bedroom...lamp dilema #2

Thank you for all the responses on my lamp dilema yesterday!!  After a comment from my friend over at Ginger Flinch, I wanted to expand on my post from yesterday, as she took me to a link that I had also saw over at Just a Girl.  Could you imagine a lamp like THIS?? Not to mention, a super cheap DIY!!! What do you think? Blue base and DIY lamp shade?? Is THIS what I should do??

    I love it! Blue base with a white/cream shade. That would be perfect in your room! I say go for it, then you can tell me how difficult it is... because I'm interested in tackling this myself.

    I love it! I would like a shade like that for the turquoise lamp I purchased a few months ago for my guest room.
